What is Bonnet Welded Globe Valve ?
The valve body and the upper valve cover are connected by welding. The function of the bonnet welded globe valve in the pipeline is to cut off, adjust or throttle. The opening and closing part of the globe valve, also called the valve disc, moves along the center line of the valve seat, and the change of the valve seat opening is directly proportional to the valve disc stroke.

At the same time, when the valve is closed, the packing material between the valve shell and the valve cover and the packing around the valve stem are not stressed, and the medium pressure and temperature will not be affected for a long time, which can extend the service life and reduce the probability of leakage. In addition, this can also be replaced or added in the valve closed state, easy maintenance.

The flow channel in the bonnet welded globe valve is designed to have a smooth arc inner wall without sharp corners and sharp edges, which can provide a smooth process without abnormal turbulence and noise.

The stuffing box seals the valve core stem. The stuffing box includes a series of packing rings, glands or guide covers. The packing spacer and anti-extrusion ring are used to prevent a small amount of process medium from leaking to the atmosphere.
